- She left, with the winter — answered the swan.

The ash-tree didn’t answer me, shaking its head
So I asked the poplar, “Where is my loved one?”

p/s: There are always 2 swans at the St Mary lake, Notre Dame. Always. I met them once when I first came here, around winter January, 2016. Came back to the lake today and just saw only one there, don’t know what happened, because swans, not like other birds, they always live with their partner, if one died, the other probably will end his life some points in the future. I hope it is not the case, I hope the other one just left somewhere out of my sight.
